LAUNDRY THE ITALIAN WAY

Doing laundry in Italy is quite an experience. If you can not tell, this is my dryer. It works great most of the time unless it rains.
This is a picture of my washer. I don't think I will need the Maytag repairman any soon. I do however, (and I never thought I would say this) wish I had the old wringer machine we had a home when I was growing up. I do not seem to get all the water out of the clothes no matter how hard I try.

Wow! Are laundry facilities in Italy this modern! I think when we come in 2010 we will bring disposable underwear!!

Love your blogspot. We'll be checking in regularly!

I remember doing laundry with grandma with that old wringer washer. It was always fun to watch and just hang out with her while she did that.

I think the carnival across the street is all set up to start tonight!

THAT is your washer? Oh my! Well, the dryer might come with an extra rinse cycle if it rains. HAHAHA!

Great idea! I never thought of the extra rinse cycle. Don't even have to rinse, just do laundry on a rainy day.
